Through sheer determination and vision, he purchased his first store in 1996 — the same shop that laid the foundation for what we know today as R.G. Wilson Stores (PVT) LTD. This milestone was only the beginning.

Over the years, the company expanded steadily:
Wilson Stores, Keyzer Street opened in 2002,
Chathuranga Traders, Prince Street launched in 2007,
Gauranga Traders, Bankshall Street began operations in 2010.

In 2019, we took a bold leap into temperature-controlled warehousing with the opening of our modern cold storage facility in Wattala, under the name R.G. Wilson Cold Stores (PVT) LTD. This move marked a significant diversification of our business into the cold chain logistics sector.
